Job Details:
HVAC Engineer
New York City based mechanical company is looking for HVAC Engineers. This position is responsible for start-to-finish design of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, building control systems and other related mechanical systems. The successful candidate shall have superior communication skills (verbal and written) and be confident interacting with clients of all levels, from construction personnel to executive management. The engineer shall travel to client sites as required.
Specific responsibilities include:
· Perform load and energy calculations for designs and reports
· Perform field inspections of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection
· Perform facility condition assessments
· Write construction specifications
· Successfully manage client deliverables such as drawings, specifications and reports
· Mentor lower-level Engineers and Designers in various procedures.
· Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
SALARY: $75-100K
