Lead Messaging Engineer
Our client in New York City is seeking a Lead Messaging Engineer. This is a full time, direct hire role with a very well established company.
Prior law firm industry experience is required.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Messaging Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in managing and maintaining our Microsoft Exchange infrastructure. As a Lead Messaging Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Exchange support, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. You will also be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to develop and implement messaging solutions that meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Exchange infrastructure
- Manage Exchange Database Availability Groups (DAGs)
- Troubleshoot Exchange-related issues
- Optimize Exchange performance
- Develop and implement messaging solutions that meet the needs of the business
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into messaging requirements
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to messaging engineers
- Stay up-to-date on the latest messaging technologies and trends
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining Exchange infrastructure in a large enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of Exchange Server architecture and components
- Experience with Exchange Database Availability Groups (DAGs)
- Experience with MS Exchange
- Experience with Cisco IronPort
- Experience building RBAC permissions models
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
