Accounting Systems Analyst

Role:
As a Senior Systems Analyst within the Finance department, this role will report directly to the Chief Accounting Officer of the organization and be a key liaison between accounting and finance as well as IT to help the organization improve financial processes, reporting, data optimization and cleansing, etc. This person will be constantly communicating with other accounting, finance, and IT professionals helping both sides understand the numbers as well as the backend of Workday systems. The Analyst will be helping with upgrades, enhancements, developing new reporting methods, helping with data migration, custom solutions, etc. This person will still be involved with the day to day accounting from a high level perspective.
Responsibilities:
- Work with CAO to planning, design and test various Workday reports
- Be a liaison between IT, Accounting, and Finance. Be a subject matter expert on Workday from both IT and Accounting
- Support IT with fielding requests from business stakeholders, planning and testing
- Support IT with the release of upgrades, enhancements, implementations, etc.
- Support Finance with data mapping, report creation, training, documentation, etc.
- Build and run reports; maintain financial data; create rules as well as procedures, etc.
- Proactively seeking process improvements, performance improvements, productivity improvements, etc.
- Manage special projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required; Preferably within Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems
- 3+ years of accounting, finance, or information technology experience.
- Prior experience acting as a liaison between finance and IT
- Prior understanding and knowledge of Workday is not required but highly preferred. ERP system experience is a must.
Compensation:
A competitive compensation packed will be available for this position including Base Salary, 30% annual bonus, medical, dental, vision, great 401K, profit sharing, tuition, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, etc.
Working Situation:
This is Hybrid situation with 4 days in the office - Mon, Tues, Wed, Thursday. Friday as work from home.
