Job Details:
GENERAL MANAGER - SUBSURFACE UTILITIES
Well established Heavy Civil Construction firm has an immediate opening for a General Manager to lead a team in the execution of underground utility and horizontal directional drilling projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in estimating sub-surface utility and HDD projects with additional experience in on site project management in Heavy Civil operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team to execute projects from cradle to grave
- Meeting with clients, subs and engineers to establish capacity of project
- Schedule field personnel
- Collaboration with field supes to ensure efficient project direction
- Contract review and management
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in estimating underground utility and HDD projects
- Thorough understanding of projects from conception through completion
- Familiarity with sales & negotiation
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Knowledge of estimating software
