Job Details:
Growing law firm in Wilmington is seeking Personal Injury Paralegal.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries and memoranda
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Interview and depose clients and witnesses
- Order, review, and summarize medical records and other evidence
- Prepare and assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness testimony
- Communicate with clients and keep them informed of the status of their cases
- Maintain case files and other legal records
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in paralegal studies or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience working in a personal injury law firm
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
