Heavy Equipment Mechanic
My client, a large, privately held corporation, with multiple facilities worldwide, has an immediate need for a Mechanic to join their team. This person will be responsible for the maintenance, overhaul and repair of all equipment used throughout the facility.
NEEDED!
- Minimum of 3 years experience diagnosing, repairing, overhauling all types of mobile machinery:- including forklifts, front end loaders, trailers, etc.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Person will be responsible for replacing worn parts, knowledgeable about power train, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, transmissions, etc., on all types of mobile industrial equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams and diagnose equipment failures utilizing various types of computerized devices.
- Welding/fabrication skills
- Able to operate front end loaders, etc.
- Trade school qualifications are very desirable
