CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR (CRO)
My client, who operates in the power industry has an immediate need for an experienced Control Room Operator to join their team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:-
- HS Diploma
- 4+ years of experience monitoring the controls systems in a power plant/heavy industrial environment
- Power plant / heavy industrial experience would be ideal.
- Expereicne with Bailey and DCS background is needed
- Ability to be decisive - take appropriate corrective actions in a timely manner
- Execute plant shutdowns and start-up following all procedures
- Ensure that all safety, environmental and operational rules and regulations are in compliance/being adhered too
- MUST have ASME/QRO Certification or ability to obtain it within 1 year of joining the company
- Valid Drivers license
- Excellent communication and problem solving / decision making skills are required for this role
- Must have the ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts.
