Telecom Engineer
My client has a full time opening for a Telecom Engineer. This role is primarily remote with local travel to client sites involved. Role will involve the following:
- Working with Ciena 6500 and Packet network
- Knowledge on the 6500, 51xx, and 39xx platforms
- Ciena routing and switching nodes
- Installation, integration and configuration
- Ability to perform advanced user functions on the existing Ciena DWDM and Packet Network
- Create and maintain diagrams and all network transport systems
- Provision services across the network
- Provide technical support
- Proven experience with Ciena 6500, 39xx & 51xx, and DWDM
