Permanent Plastic Extrusion Engineer Position
NO sponsorships - US Residency Required. Die Design for Plastic Extrusion Required.
$80,000 to $90,000 + Bonus
This is a permanent and direct-hire Plastics Extrusion Engineering position with a manufacturer of customized, engineered commercial and industrial safety equipment. You will design and develop dies using 3D CAD tools for extrusion processes, creating custom parts for specialized machinery involved in the products. Interaction with all levels within the organization from the shop floor, throughout engineering, and the executive level, as well as customers and suppliers will be key for success.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Plastics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, in addition to two (2) or more years of experience designing dies for extruded plastics (or vinyl) materials, post-graduation. Additionally practical knowledge of materials selection and process development is highly beneficial.
