Job Details:
Municipal Engineer – Wastewater -
Lead design and development of documents for a range of complex public and private infrastructure projects, including storm and sanitary sewer, water supply, pump stations, wastewater treatment plans, access management plans, traffic calming programs, roadway, and roundabout design.
- Independently designing storm and sanitary sewer, water supply, pump stations, wastewater treatment plans, access management plans, traffic calming programs, roadway and/or roundabout design
- Production of construction drawings and specifications.
- Executing the quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes.
- Keeping abreast of civil standards and regulations and researching and applying/incorporating into technical documents.
- Coordinating and integrating work with architects, designers, engineers, construction administrators, consultants, authorities having jurisdiction, and other members of a project team.
- Prioritizing and managing multiple projects of complex nature while working professionally with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to successfully prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines. Ability to drive other less experienced team members to meet the same goals.
- Communicating professionally to people both internally and externally within all levels of the organization they represent, including participation in proposals and interviews.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a wide variety of project types.
