Sr. Traffic Engineer – Civil Engineer
- This position will mentor staff in developing attributes and experience that will strengthen their knowledge and facilitate their career growth. Develop talent within the organization, as well as recruit externally and network within the industry to expand the practice.
- Manage multiple projects in a timely and accurate manner, including:
- Oversee or develop traffic simulation models using Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, Rodel, and/or Sidra.
- Leading project teams, assign duties to other team members, and monitor overall project progress.
- Review designs and complete field investigation to diagnose problems.
- Develop reports and preliminary concepts and full design phase deliverables including drawings, specifications, cost estimates, quantity take-offs, technical reports, narratives, and permit applications.
- Conduct traffic analyses to support feasibility studies, operation studies, safety studies, traffic signal optimization, and traffic signal warrant studies.
- PE License or ability to obtain.
- PTOE certification is desirable.
- Experience performing traffic analyses and preparing impact studies.
