MECHANCIAL PROCESS ENGINEER
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Process Engineer with a strong background in industrial or manufacturing environments to join our dynamic team. This opportunity offers a generous salary & benefits package with the opportunity for advancement!
Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing mechanical processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, reduce waste, and optimize equipment performance.
- Design and implement mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to evaluate process modifications, equipment upgrades, and new technologies.
- Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, models, and simulations.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Six Sigma projects, to drive operational excellence.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, working closely with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures, technical specifications, and reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ year experience
- Licensed PE preferred
- Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, with expertise in process optimization and equipment design.
- Proficient in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools.
- Knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs and UFDs
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
