Senior Accounting Manager
Our large client with numerous facilities is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager. The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for supervising and managing the accounting operations for each facility, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the accounting operations for each facility by reviewing and approving journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports produced by each facility.
- Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures across all facilities.
- Motivate, lead, and manage a team of accounting personnel responsible for the financial operations of each facility.
- Review the monthly closing process for each facility and ensure that all accounts are reconciled and closed in a timely manner.
- Manage the annual audit process for each facility, providing support to auditors and ensuring all documents required are provided.
- Work with other departments to ensure all billing and payments are entered correctly in the accounting system.
- Identify process improvements and implement changes that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
- Provide financial guidance to other departments to ensure they are meeting their budget goals.
- Review and approve all financial reports prepared by the accounting team to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws, including GAAP and healthcare laws.
