Financial Reporting Manager

Job Overview:
The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for leading the financial reporting team in a large privately held fast growing company. The role will oversee the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, prepare financial analyses and serve as a point person between accounting and other departments.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Providing guidance on revenue recognition, lease accounting and other technical accounting issues
- Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures
- Preparing financial analyses, including variance analysis against budget and prior years
- Managing the accounting close process, ensuring a timely and accurate close
- Analyzing financial data and preparing reports for senior management
- Serving as a point person for internal and external auditors
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS, and other regulatory standards
- Draft and oversee technical white papers
