Electrical & Instrumentation Technician
Large, Industrial plant has an immediate need for talented E & I Technician to perform maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting work involved with electrical and instrumentation systems within the facility.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:-
- Associates degree in a technical field
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing/heavy industrial environment.
- Proven background maintaining electrical machinery & equipment within a heavy industrial manufacturing plant.
- Knowledgeable about motors, switchgears, electrical distribution systems, transformers, starters, etc.
- Solid experience with low-medium voltage-strong working knowledge of electrical systems in machinery/equipment within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong DCS background
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical equipment issues within plant.
- Exposure on the Instrumentation side (Level, Flow, Pressure, Temperature, pH, ORP and Density instruments).
- Position also requires DCS / PLC troubleshooting / process analyzer calibration & trouble shooting.
- Well versed working on hig pressure steam boilers, etc.
- High level of mechanical aptitude
