Project Manager – Subject Matter Expert – Sales
This position will have experience working at a consulting firm.
- Maintain and develop existing key client relationships.
- Drive new client relationships.
- Develop strategic markets within Subject Matter of Expertise
- Provide Power and Controls Subject Matter Expert guidance to Electrical Engineers and Designers
- Lead the electrical discipline team on projects and proposals.
- Maintain technical expertise in your field by attending training, professional organization events, reading technical articles, etc.
- Provide thought leadership to the department.
- Leverage relationships with current key clients within your Subject Matter of Expertise to maintain and grow business.
- Create client retention and development strategy and mentor operations group in rolling it out and maintaining it.
- Developing new clients and contacts in new and existing markets within or associated with Subject Matter of Expertise
- Work with other SME’s to support strategic plan for expanding role of company with existing clients within or associated with Subject Matter of Expertise
- Take leadership role in trade shows, write papers, and perform speaking engagements to establish credibility as an SME.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering or applied sciences with twenty or more years’ experience in the field of engineering.
- The Technical Director must possess a professional engineering license or PMP accreditation, or a similar level of qualifications, competency, or accreditation.
