Responsibilities
We're seeking motivated candidates with experience in roadway and/or Caltrans projects to join our growing roadway/highway design team. Excellent career opportunity to grow with an industry leader working on exciting projects in the Bay area and surrounding markets!
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering
- PE certification in the state of CA (or ability to obtain within a year from hire date)
- 4+ years of experience working on the design of roadway projects, with strong preference for Caltrans highway design experience
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/Inroads
- Design experience on horizontal and vertical alignments, streetscape and roadway improvements, multimodal design and signage.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
- Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Ability to work independently and as a team
