Permanent Automation Engineering position in Gordon County, Georgia. $100,000 to $120,000 salary plus bonus and very attractive benefits. * Permanent Residency REQUIRED *
This an opportunity for an experienced Controls Engineer to join a highly skilled and growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in programming PLC and HMI systems in a manufacturing plant environment. The candidate should have expert level proficiency with Allen Bradley or Siemens controls platform and have a strong understanding of Profibus industrial networking.
Responsibilities for this role will include designing, developing, testing, and implementing control systems to improve manufacturing processes, troubleshooting issues with existing systems, and providing technical support to production teams.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills are a must, as well as a proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
