Senior System Engineer
My client is expanding and are looking for a Senior System Engineer to join their team. This position can be remote depending on location.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee management of on-premises systems such as Active Directory, Exchange Server, and Windows Server.
- Configure and troubleshoot remote access solutions to ensure secure user connectivity.
- Provide support and integration services for cloud-based systems to enhance performance.
- Administer and optimize VMware environments for efficient resource allocation.
- Proactively monitor system health, detect potential issues, and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and a knowledge base for internal reference.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Directory, Exchange Server, and Windows Server administration experience.
- Hands-on experience with remote access solutions like VPN and RDP.
- Experience working with cloud-based systems and managing integrations.
- Proven track record in VMware environment management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
