Job Details:
My client is a leading Illinois Architecture, Engineering, and Interior Design Firms, looking for full-time responsive Electrical Engineering Designer to become a part of a collaborative, high-energy studio where professional growth is emphasized.
The Project Manager must be able to apply sound and diverse knowledge of architectural principles and practices in a broad array of assignments and related fields. They must be able to oversee projects from start to finish, supervise project team members, and be the point of contact for clients and consultants, while exhibiting responsibility for accuracy and timeliness of work projects.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture
CERTIFICATION:
- Professional registration as a licensed Architect is required
- LEED accredited professional is preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- This is a mid-level position
- 6+ years of experience in an architectural practice with 2+ years demonstrating skills as a project manager
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Strong understanding of Revit and AutoCAD in creating and developing construction documents
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Specification writing, experience with BSD Spec link is a plus
- Experience with cost estimating at the programmatic phase and throughout construction document phase
