Job Details:
My client is a Delaware based MEP Consulting Engineering group who does AEC oriented design and engineering for various commercial, institutional and industrial clients. They are looking for a REVIT Manager. Duties include:
Key Responsibilities
- Developing BIM Execution Plans and hosting project kick-offs and coordination meetings
- Working towards deadlines set by Project Manager or BIM/CAD Manager
- Responsible for the quality of digital deliverables on assigned projects
- Perform clash detection and communicate issues
- Prepare and update BIM models for submissions
- Supervise the production of drawings from BIM models with accuracy ensuring drawings produced are according to the Office or the Client’s Drafting Standards and Procedures, and the drawing submission schedule is achieved
- Maintain proper records of all issued & received models/drawings, Clash Reports, RFIs, and BIM Register in accordance with the company’s Design Technology Standards and ensure all the drawings are completed on schedule or in a timely manner.
- Support Project Team with BIM-Modelling and related activities
- Assist in developing/maintaining Design Technology Standards under supervision of BIM Manager
- Assist in developing/maintaining content libraries, templates, workflows under supervision of BIM Manager
- Report regularly to the Project Manager on the progress of assigned project works
- Offer cross-team support for BIM software.
- Ensure all models are compatible and BIM data is available to all project participants.
- Collaborate with the design team and other departments to identify goals and communicate procedural changes.
Education and Experience
- Associates degree in AEC related field
- 3-5 years’ experience in design coordination in a multi-disciplinary environment, preferably on different scales of projects and sectors
- 5 years’ experience and moderate to advanced knowledge of design technology such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM360/ACC
- Good planning skills and time management
- Possess strong initiative and ability to work independently and within a team environment
