Senior Accounting Associate

Role:
Liberty Personnel Services in currently working with an integrated financial services firm that focuses on small to middle market business to help assist in their search for a Senior Accounting Associate. This is a newly created position to the expanding accounting team. Ideally, this individual will have an audit mindset as you'll be participating in accounting as well as advisory functions to help these organizations get up to speed with their reviews, compilations, budgets, forecasts, FP&A, etc. There will be special projects including helping these businesses acquire other companies, get setup up and ready for the sale of business, setup bank relationships, advise with wealth management, etc. This is an exciting opportunity to get out of traditional audit or assurance and be more of a hands-on business advisor to business owners and be with a exponentially growing organization, this role is for you!
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required
- 5+ years of prior accounting, audit, or assurance experience.
- 2+ years of public accounting experience is a big plus
- Ability to interact with all levels of professionals both internally and externally
- CPA is highly preferred but not required
