SALES MANAGER - INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS
Well respected Automation company seeks experienced Sales Manager with direct sales experience in distribution or manufacturing of industrial automation systems. This is a remote opportunity that requires some travel. Ability to cultivate sales leads and manager sales reps is required. Strong presentation skills with a Hunter and Farmer approach, proven track record of success and ability to interface with customers. Strong technical background and ability to technically speak with customers on an engineering level needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team developing for long term growth.
- Provide input in setting and attaining annual goals for Delivering Sm;)es – Customer Satisfaction (CSAT)
- Drive the achievement of annual revenue and margin goals for the organization
- Adhere to company best practices to be the best possible internal customer to your internal suppliers
- Promptly respond to customer needs with value-added solutions that enable customer success
- Provide leadership for company initiatives, new markets, and products
- Act as a listening post for customer, competitor, and technology insights
- Active participant on the management team to further enhance the Sure culture, improve the overall business processes of the company and decide the strategic initiatives that lead to growth
- Actively participate in Performance Management Plan and Individual Development Plan processes.
- Promptly respond to customer needs with value-added solutions that enable customer success.
- Keep Microsoft CRM current for all relevant work.
- Develop key partner relationships to facilitate integration project and technical support growth via referrals.
