Job Details:
My client is an energy management and building automation company. They are actively seeking Building Automation Controls Technicians on the Service or Install side.
This person will have to take on many roles such as controls installation, troubleshooting/service, programming/commissioning, and potentially field supervision. They need someone willing to grow and wear many hats to get the jobs accomplished.
Description:
- Install, wire, and commission controllers/panels/valves etc.
- Great computer skills
- Has strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Control programming is a plus (We work with Tridium/Honeywell/JCI – willing to train)
- CAD/Visio is a plus
- Is able to perform HVAC mechanical services if needed (knowledge of the refrigeration cycle and all HVAC type systems)
- VFD knowledge
- Experience with unit and job startups or service
- building automation knowledge
