Day-time CONTROLS TECHNICIAN position in Lancaster Pennsylvania
An established global manufacturer is seeking an experienced Industrial Controls Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, editing, and programming PLCs in ladder logic, HMI, and Ethernet networks for high-speed manufacturing operations including processing and packaging lines, as well as automating new production equipment and lines for capital expansions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLCs and HMI systems on processing and packaging lines
- Edit and program PLCs in ladder logic to optimize manufacturing processes
- Configure and maintain Ethernet networks to ensure uninterrupted communication between systems
- Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to identify and resolve complex technical problems
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to ensure uninterrupted operations
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in industrial automation including PLC and HMI programming
- Proficiency in ladder logic programming on either the Allen Bradley (Rockwell), Siemens, Schneider or Mitsubishi platforms.
- Experience with Ethernet networks
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
