Job Details:
My client is a progressive manufacturing and service company specializing in high temperature process equipment, including furnaces, kilns, incinerators and related products; located southeast of the Chicago metropolitan area. Industries served include, Investment Casting, Heat Treating, Forging, Incineration, Human and Animal Cremation
Job Responsibilities
1. Work closely with other engineering disciplines through the design and engineering phase to ensure all machine functions requiring controls integration are accommodated. Good oral and written communication skills are important.
2. Assist with drawing schematic diagrams and panel layout drawings in AutoCAD Electrical.
3. Work toward proficiency in developing PLC code – typically within the Allen-Bradley realm.
4. Modify HMI interfaces on platforms such as FactoryTalk, InduSoft, Ignition, and C-more operator interface panels.
5. Edit operator/user manuals for new equipment ensuring all system features are accounted for.
6. Assist with hardware and software troubleshooting during initial startup and/or final system commissioning when required.
