Job Details:
My client is actively seeking a Heavy Civil Construction Director of Field Operations for high profile and long term project.
- Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
- Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout.
- Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BS Construction Management/Civil Engineering and 12 years or more of demonstrated heavy civil construction project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership.
Preferred requirements:
- Civil Engineering degree with PE designation, strongly preferred.
- 12 years of experience on superstructure heavy civil projects exceeding 1M.
- Experience in port or marine construction strongly preferred.
- Excellent organization, technical and communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve and adapt to changing needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Experience in construction documentation, budgeting, contracts, and the ability to read and interpret construction/engineering drawings.
- Experience in creating, interviewing, developing, mentoring and managing project teams.
- OSHA 30.
- Experience managing client relations, presentations, and engagement with team members of all levels.
- Understanding of project construction from design, budget and schedule.
- Valid Driver’s License
