Job Details:
My client is the leading Construction Management firm on the Windport NJ multi-decade project. The project is a quasi governmental and commercial project. They are seeking Heavy Civil Dirt movers with professional experience in large high profile and high dollar Civil projects.
Duties include:
- Provides overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
- Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
- Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA Civil Engineering/Construction Management and 6 years of experience in Heavy Civil construction project management or AA/AS and 8 years of relevant construction project management experience or HSD/GED and 10 years of relevant construction project management experience.
Preferred requirements:
- BS Civil Engineering or Construction Management strongly preferred.
- Experience with various construction processes such as subcontractor management, scheduling, sequencing, submittals, and construction contract administration.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.
- Strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to apply appropriate communication techniques to various individuals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and other construction related computer programs.
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and job-related documents.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Experience as client interface, preparing presentations and synthesizing information.
- Valid Driver’s License to operate on site.
