Tax Manager
Role:
Liberty Personnel Services in currently working with an integrated public accounting and financial services firm that focuses on small to middle market business owners to help assist in their search for a Tax Manager. This individual will be leading a team as well a leading individual, corporate, partnership, trusts and estates tax returns.
Responsibilities
- Interact closely with clients and firm team members that you'll supervise in order to provide innovative and proactive individual and business tax planning, consulting, and compliance services in a timely and effective manner.
- Perform both individual and business tax returns, with concentration in flow through entities.
- Manager all communication, deadlines and sharing tax savings strategies.
- Work closely with Partners and staff on client management, professional development, and business development activities
- Supervise and lead associate and senior associate team members to manage responsibilities and deadlines on client engagements
- Develop strategies to attract new clients and market the company's services and products to help the organization grow
- Keep abreast of any legislative or professional changes as well as research any tax changes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required. Masters in Tax is a plus
- 6+ years of prior public tax accounting or progressive corporate accounting experience.
- Prior experience in Partnership, Corporate, Trust, Estates, or S-Corps tax is preferred
- Prior experience with tax strategies, trust and estate work, financial planning, wealth transfer, etc.
- Ability to interact with all levels of professionals both internally and externally
- CPA is highly preferred but not absolutely required
