Director of Funds
The Director of Funds is responsible for broad activities related to the capital management of the company including the capital structure and funding, stakeholder management, and liquidity and financing operations. The core responsibility is to manage and execute the company's funding strategy and manage and develop cost of capital, which is used to support ongoing operations and strategic initiatives across the enterprise. This is a highly visible opportunity where you will work with multiple departments and lead a team of treasury professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the risk-focused oversight model
- Manage and maintain relationship with Board of Directors by providing oversight results
- Manage the Company's global cash and cash flows consistent with liquidity needs for business operations, capital projects, acquisitions, and debt service
- Manage the Company’s credit facility by ensuring timely interest payments and quarterly principal payments in a cost-efficient use of the facility.
- Direct the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of a corporate cash forecasting system to accurately predict the timing of cash requirements over appropriate time horizons.
- Perform interest forecasting, reporting, compliance, issuance of bank guarantees, letters of credit and surety bonds
- Review financial statements and execute disclosure control procedures
- Work cross functionally with FP&A, Tax and Accounting teams
- Ensure pricing and valuation of securities are accurate
- Partner with external auditors to make sure that the financial reporting deadlines are met
- Support M&A activities related to the treasury functions, including due diligence and treasury integration.
- Participate in new product launces, fund managers and liquidations.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience working in the financial services industry
- Big 4 experience and CPA is preferred
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting
- Technical accounting experience related to the financial services industry is preferred
- Team player and possess the ability to motivate a team
- Excellent communicator
- Highly organized and detail oriented
Compensation:
Salary range of $160,000.00 to $200,000.00 depending on experience
