Electrical Process Controls Engineer
Sr. Electrical Controls Engineer - extensive travel
Job Duties:
- Design controls & automation systems specific to client’s needs
- Test and correct any issues with equipment prior to it leaving for installation with the clients
- Provide customer support including troubleshooting & training
- Assist with the installation and commissioning process
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar
- 4+ years of controls engineering related experience
- Data Centers, Oil & Gas, Mining, Semiconductor, and similar process controls industries
- Proficient understanding of automation systems, including PLC’s, HMI’s, SCADA, drives, etc.
- Ability to travel 50%, including internationally
- Programming, design experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Honeywell Experion & TDC, Delta V and other systems.
- Experience working in heavy industrial settings such as oil & gas, mining, steel, chemical manufacturing, etc.
- PLC programming: Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE, Modicon, Schneider
- HMI programming: FactoryTalk View SE & ME, RSView, Intellution iFix, VTScada, Wonderware InTouch & ArchestrA
- SCADA: Proficy Historian, iHistorian, Ignition
- Rockwell Historian, GE Proficy Historian, Intellution iHistorian databases
- Ethernet communications, P&ID's
- Customer service and communication skills
