Senior Accountant
Fully Remote!
$80,000-$95,000 plus bonus
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for applying accounting techniques and standard practices to the accounting, reconciliation, and recording of investment and cash processing activities. You will be asked to prepare financial and business related analyses and research and communicate with other departments in the preparation of analyses, journal entries, and account reconciliations, investigating all discrepancies and resolving problems.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the preparation of investment portfolio reports, core investment earnings reports and ad hoc reports as required by management, various regulatory departments, and rating agencies.
- Prepare various monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for both internal and external use
- Prepare data for regulatory filings
- Participate in developing financial plans (annual budgets, monthly forecast, and strategic plans).
- Complete and distribute quarterly STAT & GAAP Investment Disclosures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
- CPA or MBA preferred
- Public accounting preferred
- 3 - 5 Years of Accounting Experience
- 1-2 Years of Experience in Investment Accounting Industry
