Principal Financial Analyst
Role:
As a Principal Financial Analyst, this person will be a subject matter expert and lead partnering with business leaders in order to supply financial planning and analysis. This is a highly visible (executive level visibility) sole contributor position that reports to a Director of FP&A with a dotted line to the CFO. This analysis will be focused on P&L, costing, contracts analysis, performance analysis, accruals, variance analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, as well as proactively finding efficiencies and suggesting optimization solutions. This position interacts heavily with different teams including accounting, operations, engineering, labs, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Director with financial planning and analysis focused on projects, shared costs, supply chain, pricing, material costs, inventory, profitability, performance, etc.
- Perform budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, etc.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Perform Modeling for business cases
- Lead monthly accrual process
- Perform cash flow analysis to help support business unit leader’s decisions
- Perform profitability analysis, assist with capital budgeting, productivity analysis, reporting, etc.
- Help drive cost efficiencies, process improvements, business planning, profit and loss metrics, etc.
- Be the liaison between engineering, operations, sales, marketing, etc in order to build those relations and communication the analytics
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- bachelor's degree is required. Masters or MBA is a plus
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial analysis experience within a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience within a Pharmaceutical, Clinical Trail, CRO or similar industry
- Certifications are a plus
Compensation:
A competitive compensation packed will be available for this position including Base salary, Annual bonus, Long term incentive, medical, dental, vision, 401K, profit sharing, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, etc.
Working Situation:
This will be a Hybrid situation with 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home.
