Job Details:
Client is a privately owned Utility Construction Company located in the greater Philadelphia area, and they are seeking an experienced Project Manager. Qualified candidates must have 3 to 5 years experience in the underground utility construction field.
As a Project Manager (PM) in the Gas Operation Division, the PM will lead Gas Operations Supervisors, and will be responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting the status of assigned projects. The PM will facilitate and monitor the budget for the varying projects.
Responsibilities:
- PM will provide leadership including project planning, scheduling, prioritization of tasks and cost control with Field Supervisors and Field Forces monitoring project(s) progress.
- Plan direct and coordinate activities for designated projects to ensure that goals and/or objectives of the project are accomplished
- Direct supervision to Field Supervisors.
- Request resources
- Schedule and facilitate team meetings
- Issue regular status reports, the final report
- Supervises, coordinate and set priorities for this department to ensure efficient, accurate and timely performance for the Gas Operations Division.
- Evaluate and review supervisors annually
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in project management involving the construction and installation of gas mains and services.
- Must have working knowledge of applicable regulations and agencies such as DOT and OSHA
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word Project, and Outlook is also necessary
