Job Details:
Systems Control Center Technician - Water/Wastewater Treatment
Perform field activities including:
- Monitor gauges, measure pump, vacuum, instrument and service air pressure, hydraulics
- Monitor suction and discharge elevation
- Monitor reservoir and weir elevation, and discharge valve positioning
- Troubleshoot any problems
- Perform direct startup and stopping of pumps in accordance with the load demand; perform minor repairs to equipment
- Request repair and generate WOs for maintenance service
- Respond to emergency situations and immediately notify the appropriate GLWA personnel and treatment operations
- Set up process pumping and distribution, wastewater collection and water or wastewater treatment processing equipment status using graphical objects displayed
- Instrumentation, PLC's, HMI's and similar experience a plus
- Client interaction skills
