Corporate Income Tax Manager
125-150K and Bonus
Role:
A leading global manufacturing organization is seeing a Corporate Tax Manager! As a Tax Manager, you'll be reporting to a Senior Director of Tax and responsible for the day to day tax operations. This is highly visible position with the executive team that requires a strong ASC 740, ASC 450, and USGAAP tax background. This individual will be managing a team as well as the day to day tax provisional operations. This would include quarterly and annual income tax provisions, tax reporting, tax systems/tools, managing relationships with outside vendors and public accounting firms. This is a highly visible permanent hybrid position with the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Sr. Director of Tax to manage the preparation and review of the organizations ASC 740 income tax accounting
- Ensure the quarterly and annual income tax provisions are timely and accurately prepared in accordance with the relevant US GAAP, SEC, and other authoritative guidance related to accounting for income taxes
- Manage all internal reporting for tax accounting
- Develop and improve processes as well as maximize tax reporting tools
- Coordinate and review income tax for consolidated entities
- Research tax accounting matters, tax changes, tax policies, etc.
- Assist third party outsourced vendors relationships and data
- Manager, mentor, train, and hire other tax professionals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- CPA and/or Master's degree are required
- 4+ years of progressive tax experience within a large public accounting firm; 6+ years of progressive corporate tax experience within a fortune 1000 organization
- The ability to work with all levels of employees
- Prior experience with ASC 740 and ASC 450 is required
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required
Working Situation:
This is a hybrid working schedule with two days in the office and three days working remotely.
