Regional Sales Manufacturer- Automation Machinery
Well-respected Automation Machinery Manufacturer seeks experienced Sales Manager to lead the Mid West, West region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a first class organization and work with the best!
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Hires and trains sales representatives and distributors in assigned territory
- Organizes sales schedules of assigned staff
Responsibilities
- Sells the company products in assigned territory
- Keep CRM accounts up to date and accurate, monitors existing accounts, and regularly communicates with primary contacts for the account
- Works to establish new accounts in the assigned territory
- Works toward increasing sales growth in the territory at an established rate
- Assists with the coordination of sales efforts for other territories and sales representatives
- Collaborate with executive management to develop sales quotes and proposals
- Gain a good technical understanding of our industry, software products
- Learn and demo new product offerings, act as company representative at trade shows, conventions, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients
- Excellent communication skills via phone, email, and in-person
- Excellent management and leadership skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multitask, complete goals by deadlines, and complete work while traveling
- Thorough technical background knowledge of territory, market, and clients
- Excellent problem-solving skills, sales techniques, and ability to negotiate and close deals
- Proficient in sales CRM software i.e. Salesforce, Hubspot, Freshsales, etc.
- Organized with attention to detail with a variety of accounts, files, and reports
Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Five years of outside sales experience required
