Revenue Accountant
Role:
As a Revenue Accountant, this individual will be reporting to an Accounting Manager and working closely with the Controller as well. This individual will be focused on revenue accounting ASC 606, general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, account analysis, daily cash, etc. This is for the accountant that wants to grow, wants to learn all aspects of accounting, and be a part of a team!
Responsibilities:
- Assist Accounting Manager with month end close
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations and analysis, journal entries, cash reconciliations and reporting, accruals, inventory accounting, etc.
- Assist with financial Statement preparation
- Work with sales and shipping to complete sales as well as reconcile sales and freight shipments
- Assist Accounting Manager and controller with process improvements, controls, documentation, etc.
- Assist with Annual Audit and work with external firms
- Special Projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required
- 2+ years of progressive accounting or audit experience. Public or Corporate Accounting
- Certifications are a plus but not required
- Ability to work with professionals of all levels both in person and remotely
Working Conditions:
This can be a remote or hybrid working situation. The person must live within 2 hours of Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
Compensation:
