Job Details:
Senior Accountant (Hybrid)
$75k-$85k plus bonus
Role:
The Senior Accountant will take ownership of the monthly close and reporting as well as bring their expertise to automate and improve current processes. This person will be detail oriented, self-motivated, and driven by personal success.
Responsibilities:
- Support and participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement close processes, including reconciliation maintenance, and analysis of general ledger accounts
- Support the Controller in identifying improvements to automate existing processes for increased efficiency
- Assist in preparing monthly reporting package, providing insight to business trends and variance analysis to leadership.
- Handle the periodic review of Accruals with updates as needed after review of YTD balances
- Assist with the budgeting process by preparing comparative reports and analysis throughout the year
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or similar practical experience with solid working knowledge of general ledger functions
- 2+ years of general accounting accounting experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables and v-lookup)
- Audit background is a plus
- Fun personality and team player
