Senior Accounting Advisor
Role:

A public accounting and advisory firm is expanding their regional Miami office and looking to add a Senior Associate / Senior Accountant to their team. This position will allow you to gain valuable work experience with Fortune 1000 organizations, be a part of the organization longer (6-12 months) than a typically audit assignment, and still work less hours! Work responsibilities would vary depending on the client engagement but can include process improvements and optimization, management reporting, controllership / act as mini CFO, technical accounting, assisting with Divestitures, carve outs, IPO's, M&A integration, post integration mergers, system implementations, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Work with all levels of employees and be a cross functional liaison with different departments
- Work on a variety of client engagements across multiple industries and perform various roles to expand and build your career
- Act as a controller / mini CFO sharing your knowledge and expertise with executives and leadership
- Be a part of critical strategic initiatives to drive process improvements and efficiency
- Special Projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- At least 3 years of public accounting experience or a blend of public accounting and corporate finance/accounting.
- A CPA (or progressed towards) is highly preferred.
- Prior experience auditing or working for a publicly traded and/or Fortune 1000 organizations are strongly preferred.
Compensation:
A competitive compensation packed will be available for this position including Base Salary, 30% bonus, medical, dental, vision, great 401K, profit sharing, tuition, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, etc.
Working Conditions:
This can be a remote position. Ideally, they would like someone on a Hybrid working situation. Typically, that is 3 days in the office and 2 days at a home office.
