APPLICATIONS ENGINEER - AUTOCAD
Well respected packaging machinery company seeks experienced Applications Engineer with direct
AutoCAD experience specific to the packaging industry. Qualified candidates will have direct experience with AutoCAD along with project management and mechanical design experience.

Key Job Duties:
- Partner with the sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure customer expectations are met
- Prepare customer specifications for automated packaging equipment
- Provide sales team and customers pricing based on machine requirements
- Develop an understanding of the packaging industry, that includes market dynamics, performance expectations, and competitive threats
- Attend trade shows and maintains relationships with vendors to stay abreast of latest technology and ensure continued technical support
- Provide in-house and on-site technical support to customer; understands/modifies customer’s plant layouts to create solutions
- Manage projects to ensure customer commitments are maintained and there is clear communication throughout the machine building process

Requirements
Desired Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management
- 5 years’ experience in project management, technical sales, or mechanical design
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Self-starter with ability to get the job done with minimal supervision
- Enthusiastic colleague with a collaborative “can-do” attitude
- Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects with a focus on quality and “on-time” delivery
- Robust customer and technical communication skill
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
- Strong professionalism and unwavering integrity
- Must be US citizen or green card holder (permanent residency status).
