Electrical Controls Engineering Technician
Highly regarded Automation Systems Integrator seeks Automation, Controls & Instrument Technician:
- Associate's in engineering or industrial technology
- AC & DC drives
- Industrial processes and controls experience
- PLC's, HMI's, SCADA proficiency
- Rockwell/Allen Bradley Control Logix, RSLogix, Schneider Electric, Modicon
- Ability to read, interpret, and redline electrical schematics
- Start up, commissioning, troubleshooting of electrical/instrumentation systems
- Ability to use a multi meter to troubleshoot & correct issues with electrical & control circuits, instrumentation, drives, etc
- Experience completing I/O checkouts & identifying, diagnosing, and correcting problems that arise
- Control panel design and testing
- Preventative and corrective maintenance
- P&ID’s and loop diagrams
- Power, controls and instrumentation systems
- Client interaction skills
- 40% travel
- Checkout, commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting
- Industries:
- Data Centers, Mission Critical, Energy Efficiency, Industrial HVAC, Central Plant Utilities, Cogen Plants, Coal Fired Power Plants, Mission Critical, Combined Cooling Heat and Power
- Process Controls: Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Semiconductor, Biotech, large-scale Pharmaceutical, etc.
- Building Management Systems/Building Automation Systems experience a big plus
