Customer Service Support Specialist

$55,000-$65,000

Role:
As a Customer Service and Sales Support, you'll be responsible for wearing multiple hats within this mid-size but global manufacturing organization. This would include working with the organization's customers for any product issues, supporting a sales team with both product specifications but also generating leads, working with supply chain, logistics, plant as well as corporate offices in order to ensure inventory is in stock, logistics and shipping is being process correctly and efficiently, processing orders, working with customers on any orders / issues / or questions, etc. 

Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with external and internal customers via phone at all levels of the company to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services.
  • Work with sales teams to help generate leads, introductory informative calls, etc.
  • Handles and resolves customer escalations using good judgment and following guidelines.
  • Receives and processes orders for products and services.
  • Validates and corrects pricing discrepancies
  • Working closely with the plant’s customer service department, materials department and logistics department to ensure operational goals are being met.
  • Assist the COO in order to make sure the customers / future customers are being services correctly and efficiently 
  • Generates, monitors and analyzes reports, including back order, restricted product, allocation cancelation, delivery block, tracking and incomplete order reports.
  • Creating and updating production delivery schedules
  • Preparing audit check list, shipping reports and blue prints for delivery operations.
  • Assisting with other administrative and customer service tasks as assigned and cross-training in other departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Prior experience in either a customer service, sales support, or inside sales position
  • This position is for the enthusiastic person that no task is too big or too small

Working Conditions:
This is an in office position with safety protocols in place.
