Senior Tax Associate, M&A
Do you have a strong tax background and a love for deals? Are you looking for a position that is full cycle and exposes you to all types of transactions?
Role:
As a Senior Tax Associate, you'll sit within the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team to help provide guidance in structuring transactions from a tax perspective. This is a very collaborative position with both internal and external professionals of all levels. You'll get to work with some of the best private equity, hedge fund, and other corporations around the country!
Responsibilities:
- Work with Tax Manager to provide tax expertise for structuring transactions
- Perform due diligence on both the buy and sell side
- Evaluate risk, purchase price, tax impacts, etc.
- Work with Tax Manager on proposals, presentations, etc.
- Work with clientele to help then understand tax implications, critical issues, tax solutions, materials, etc.
- Develop, maintain, and foster relationships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Master's or MBA is a plus
- 3+ years of prior tax experience within a CPA or Advisory firm
- Prior experience within an M&A group, structuring transactions, and due diligence, are all highly preferred.
