Senior Financial Analyst, Modeling
Role:
A rapidly growing logistics organization is looking to add a new member to their finance team, a Senior Financial Analyst, Modeling. This individual will report up to a Director and be a key asset and partner in analyzing data, building financial models, quantifying data, root cause analysis, financial reporting, receivables management, as well as manage multiple projects over time. This is a sole contributor role but will lead several projects!
Responsibilities:
- Assist the accounting and finance departments with end to end reporting
- Assist the Director in managing financial data
- Collect, Analyze, and build models to quantify the data.
- Work with clientele both internally and externally to understand the financial impacts of discounts, rebates, and other contractual obligations
- Present the results to c-level and stakeholders
- Influence financial decisions including profitability, cost reduction, receivable management,
- Perform project management; schedules, updates, monitor progress, etc.
- Assist with contracts, contract translation, and the impact of contracts on financials
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required. Master's or MBA is a plus
- 3+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
- Prior experience within the logistic or supply chain industry is a big plus
- Prior modeling experience is required; advanced Excel skills are a must; Tableau is a plus
- Ability to work with all levels of employees in all different disciplines.
This is an in office position with some flexibility as needed.
