Job Details:
Senior Tax Associate
A financial services organization is looking for a Senior Tax Associate to join their team. Previous experience working in public accounting desired as well as experience with ASC 740.
Responsibilities:
- ASC740
- SAP
- Create and provide documentation to support the global tax provision consolidation process
- Help the Director identify and automate tax processes; This would include systems, efficiencies, procedures, areas of risk, etc.
- Prepare support documentation for internal control purposes for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
- Assist with the documentation surrounding income tax contingencies
- Support US federal and state tax compliance calculations and filings
- Interface with Manager of Tax Systems on the optimization of tax provision software and tax compliance software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- 4+ years of federal and corporate tax experience including consolidations and provisions
