Financial Operations Analyst
Role:
A large stable manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst. As a Financial Operations Analyst, this individual will be working with a financial strategy team and responsible for analytical support to help the performance of the overall organization. This would include performance analysis, profitability analysis, trend analysis, data analysis, metrics, preparing month end schedules, budgets vs. actuals, as well as special projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Finance Manager with performance analysis, productivity analysis and profitability analysis; including but not limited to variance analysis, product analysis, trend analysis, prior year vs. current year analysis, etc.
- Help prepare the budgets and forecasts for several business units
- Analyze profitability and profit margins
- Perform data analysis, create reports, and help influence future decisions or process improvements via presentations
- Create models to help predict revenues, trends, profits, variances, etc.
- Create metrics for the organizations and business units
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance is required
- 2+ years of prior financial analysis or FP&A within a fortune 1000 organization
- Strong Excel skills are required
- Ability to speak with all levels of professionals both internally and externally
- Compensation:
- A competitive compensation package will be available for this position including a base salary 75-95K, annual bonus 5-7%, as well as medical, dental, vision, a GREAT 401K, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, floating holidays, etc.
Relocation:
Relocation packages will be considered for non-local candidates
Working Situation:
This is a hybrid working situation with three days in the office and 2 days work from home.
