Senior Tax Analyst
Role:

This position is open due to internal promotions which could you be in just a few short years!
As an Income Tax Analyst, you'll be assisting Tax leadership with tax provisions for both domestic and international subsidiaries. This would include preparing and booking income for tax provisions, compliance, working with system date on reporting, help improving systems, being the liaison between accounting, finance, and Tax for the region. This role is heavy and data analytic driven role as well as a highly visible opening with interaction of all levels of professionals both locally and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the collection of data to be used in the income tax return preparation process.
- Enters data into income tax return software application (OneSource).
- Prepares income tax returns for review including all relevant work papers.
- Creates and maintains income tax work papers utilizing software applications such as Microsoft Excel.
- Assists with the maintenance of the company’s master due date listing.
- Gathers information for audits, income tax provisions and special projects.
- Works closely with Tax Manager to gather all necessary information to prepare and generate accurate tax returns.
- Works closely with Tax Manager to validate technical interpretations.
- Works with internal and external accounting associates and various taxing jurisdictions for the purpose of assisting in the tax preparation process.
- Reconciles tax and financial data to the general ledger.
- Works with the Tax Manager to complete income tax audits when applicable
- Research, update, and document new guidelines pertaining to income tax laws.
- Be a liaison between accounting, finance, and tax to help communication and drive tax analysis
- Ensure compliance and adjustments are made in regards to local, state, federal, and respective countries
- Create and provide documentation to support the global tax provision consolidation process; prepare reviews as well
- Assist with the documentation surrounding income tax contingencies
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. MBA or MST is a plus
- CPA or other certifications are preferred
- Prior ASC 740 experience is highly preferred
- Strong business acumen: Ability to work as a sole contributor as well as part of a team
- Prior experience with SAP, Oracle, or OneSource is a plus
- ** Relocation assistant is offered with this position!
Compensation:
A competitive compensation package will be available for this position including a base salary 75-105K, annual bonus 7%, as well as medical, dental, vision, a GREAT 401K, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, floating holidays, etc.
Working Situation:
This will be a Hybrid situation with 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home.
