Quality Test Engineer

Growing award winning global client in the technology industry is looking to add a Test Engineer to their Quality Team.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Quality Manager and work with Technicians, Manufacturing Engineering and Product Development teams
- Verify that newly developed products meet all applicable specifications
- Participation in the creation of testing strategies and plans for newly developed products and changes to existing products, including preparation of effort estimates for plan execution
- Create test setups and execution of product and system tests
- Documentation of test plans and test results
- Participation in the conception, development and implementation of new test equipment and automation of existing test equipment
- Facilitate maintenance and servicing of test equipment
- Execution of test failure analysis for newly developed products
- Work with Manufacturing Engineering to assure that relevant new product testing protocols are applied to serial production
Skills / Background:
- BS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in a Test Engineer role
- Experience in an electrical products manufacturing environment
- Experience with mechanical test and trouble shooting skills
- Experience with electrical testing equipment (Oscilloscope, DMM’s, data acquisition)
- Experience supporting product development is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work both independently and in a cross-functional team environment
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Self-driven and willing to acquire new skills to grow in the position
- ASQ Certification(s) a plus - CQE, CQT, CRE, CSSGB
