HVAC/BAS CONTROLS TECHNICIAN - TOP TEN PLACES TO WORK IN DC!!!
All tasks that the Engineering Technician will perform are related to ensuring ongoing performance for the LOC ESPC Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) during the Performance Period.
The Technician is responsible for the following as it relates to the components installed under the LOC ESPC project: Working with the M&V group, the technician shall ensure that each ECM implemented under the LOC ESPC is performing as designed, call attention to any latent issues with system design, construction or control strategies, tracking and reporting performance, training LBG personnel and keeping the AOC informed of any change in performance observed. Items not installed under the ESPC Project are excluded from the technician’s roles and responsibilities.
Performance Management
- Tracks issues log and coordinates with Construction Management team for open items from the Post-Installation Report or latent design or construction defects.
- Reviews SkySpark reports related to the ESPC scope of work, diagnosing root cause, defining and recommending solutions.
- Identifies new areas for energy performance improvement.
- Performs diagnostic testing on systems included in the ESPC project.
